Verónica Guzmán

Verónica was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She came to the United States for college, earning a B.A in Political Science and International Studies from The University of Chicago. A few years after working in Washington, DC., she pursued a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from The University of California, Berkeley.

Verónica has over ten years of experience working with non-profits in international development with a focus in education, and has vast experience managing programs and directing teams. She has worked as a researcher for the Inter-American Development Bank, The World Bank, and The University of Washington.

She currently lives in Kirkland with her husband and three children. She enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and making art and science experiments with her kids. Verónica is committed to building a physical, academic, and emotional environment where teachers, staff, and families work together to nurture and foster each learner’s personal growth.
