Sangeeta is an experienced and passionate educator with over 18 years of teaching experience across India, London, and the United States. Her international career has given her the opportunity to work with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, enriching her perspective as an educator and strengthening her belief that every child brings unique strengths, experiences, and perspectives to the classroom.
Sangeeta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Montessori teaching certification, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication. Throughout her career, she has taught different age groups and taken on a variety of academic and administrative responsibilities. Sangeeta is deeply passionate about teaching and believes that education extends beyond textbooks and academics. She strives to create a welcoming, engaging, and supportive classroom where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, asking questions, taking risks, and developing confidence in their abilities
Sangeeta is excited to bring her global experience, enthusiasm, and love for education to G.I.S. She looks forward to becoming part of the school community, collaborating with fellow educators and families, and fostering memorable learning experiences for her students. One of the greatest joys of being an educator, she believes, is building meaningful relationships with her students.
Family holds a very special place in Sangeeta’s life. She is a proud mother of a son who is currently pursuing his medical education. Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places, gardening, reading, experimenting with new recipes, and cooking for family and friends. She believes that learning is a lifelong journey and is excited to continue it alongside her students at G.I.S.
