At Global Idea School, “global” means acknowledging the humanity we share with all people. The policies, decisions, processes, programs, and activities of our school are founded on a GLOBAL way of viewing ourselves and the world, ingrained in the IDEA of our school:

Our Approach

At Global Idea School, the learning-teaching approach is student-centered. This means that the diversity of student needs, beliefs, abilities, interests, behaviors, and learning styles guides the teaching process and that the student’s voice is central to their daily learning experience.

Our cross-disciplinary curriculum is based on STEM©, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and has integrated and expanded it to include Art and Social Studies (STEAMS).

Our socio-emotional curriculum, Círculo Mágico© (Magic Circle), teaches students to understand emotions and incorporates mindfulness to teach students how to manage emotions.

School Life

Families are an integral part of a child’s education. We are committed to building a supportive and inclusive community where families know each other and our staff well. To develop a strong partnership with families, we have an open-door policy, communicate daily with families, and provide volunteer opportunities.

Testimonials

“Global Idea School offers a truly remarkable educational experience. I can’t express enough gratitude for their exceptional commitment to excellence and their focus on socio-emotional development. The school’s commitment to nurturing the whole child, academically and emotionally, is commendable. The caring and dedicated staff create a warm, inclusive environment where students feel valued and supported”.

“Watching my daughter grow and flourish at Global Idea School has been truly amazing. She loves coming to school every day, and it is clearly because of her amazing teacher’s love, support, and creativity!”

“We could not be happier with our experience at Global Idea School. From the moment we first visited the school, we knew that it was a place where our daughters could learn, grow, and thrive. The academic excellence and a genuinely nurturing and inclusive environment have exceeded our expectations. Students learn Spanish through a natural, immersive, and cross-disciplinary process. My older daughter speaks and writes complete Spanish sentences at the end of first grade. The student’s pronunciation is very impressive, and we appreciate that they study other subjects in both English and Spanish”.
