After-School Program

Our after-school program is offered to learners enrolled in Global Idea School, as well as to learners attending nearby elementary schools. The program runs from 3pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Families can choose the amount of days they wish to enroll their child/children in the after-school program, ranging from once per week to a full week. We also offer care on half days, early release days, and Lake Washington School District school closure days (except holidays and breaks) when we are open.

The after-school program is play-based. Children have free access to a wide variety of materials and toys and are encouraged to play with each other. Each day of the week has a special instructor-led activity based on the group’s interests. For example, a week may look like this: Monday yoga, Tuesday art & crafts, Wednesday lego-mania, Thursday dance party, and Friday board games & puzzles. We provide a healthy, organic snack in the afternoon.
