We had an incredible week in Antigua! Our 5th grade students had the unique opportunity to attend Antigua Green School, where they engaged in hands-on learning about coffee production, sustainability practices, and scientific experiments. They practiced their Spanish at school, in the local market, and in their daily interactions. They also explored local customs and even prepared arroz con leche, creating unforgettable memories with their peers.
Throughout the trip, students formed new friendships and deepened their understanding of the local culture. Families also had the chance to visit the school and explore the beauty of Antigua. Our group outings provided meaningful opportunities to connect with G.I.S families in a whole new way.
