Afterschool Teacher & Spanish Teacher Assistant 1st/2nd Grade

Malena was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where her passion for sports, languages, and teaching began at an early age. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a minor in Disability and High Performance from River Plate University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Education and New Technologies at Universidad Siglo 21, along with a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences.
Her teaching career has taken her to classrooms in both Argentina and the
United States, where she has worked with students from early childhood through
high school. Known for her dynamic, student-centered approach, Malena designs lessons that foster teamwork, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of
movement and learning.
In addition to her classroom work, she has taught swimming, coached skiing, and organized sports events—bringing energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to every setting. Malena is fluent in Spanish, highly proficient in English (FCE, TOEFL), and holds a Level 5 TEFL certification.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature, traveling, and discovering new strategies to make her classes engaging and inspiring.
