On Friday, October 11, we had an all-school field trip to the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture!
TK-1st graders dove into the world of dinosaurs and other Mesozoic creatures! From sorting fossils to pretending to be dinosaurs, they explored the galleries with wide-eyed wonder. 🦕✨
Our 2nd-5th graders took on the role of junior paleontologists, learning to identify different rocks and fossils. They even contributed to real scientific work, helping the Burke Museum sort and identify microfossils! 🧑🔬🔍 While exploring the museum galleries, they filled their minds (and notebooks) with fresh ideas and questions. What an adventure!
Thank you Burke Museum, we had an incredible time!
