Student work at G.I.S showcases the learning, growth, and imagination of our students across all grade levels. Whether working independently or collaboratively, our learners engage deeply with meaningful projects that connect to real-world topics and classroom goals. This space highlights some of the meaningful voices, ideas, and achievements of our students that reflect their curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking as they develop the skills and confidence to become thoughtful contributors to their communities.
At the end of each school year, G.I.S displays student work. From research projects and creative writing to hands-on science experiments and artistic expression, our students take pride in sharing their learning with peers, families, and the school community.
Our annual STEAMS Fair celebrates student creativity and curiosity across Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, and the Social Sciences. Held during the last trimester, the fair invites students from all grades to participate—individually or in groups—sharing hands-on projects that explore the world through inquiry, innovation, and imagination.
From TK to 5th grade, students dive into the world of computer science by exploring how computers work, strengthening logical reasoning, and learning to code. Their projects showcase skills in Google tools, programming, AI and machine learning, and even digital design for laser cutting. Through hands-on challenges, they turn ideas into websites, simulations, and real-world solutions.
Each year, our entire school comes together to create a bilingual musical that dazzles our community. Directed by a teacher and brought to life with live piano music, student-made props, scenery, and costumes, the production is a true collaboration. With script contributions from upper grades and creative support from all the teachers, the result is a professional-quality performance that audiences call the best school play they’ve ever seen.
