Her many years of experience as a teacher combined with her communication skills and her artistic education allows her to engage with her students, bringing out the best in each of them. Sonia enjoys teaching and producing creative materials. She is still amazed at how fast children learn another language when they are encouraged to participate in creative activities.

Sonia has two daughters and a dog named Gatsby. In her spare time, she is involved in community work helping others, plays the violin, and enjoys outdoors activities such as skiing, kayaking, tennis, and biking as well as taking photographs
